Leicester Comedy Festival

The Miller Partnership have also been Business Partners of the Leicester Comedy Festival since 2013 increasing their support year-on-year from Gold to Platinum Sponsors, supporting the incredibly important work of The Big Difference Company.

This small charity, based in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter, not only produce the annual comedy festival, but also use comedy and humour throughout the year to help transform people’s lives.  Current projects include work with older people, people with poor mental health and children and young people.

Past projects have focused on working with people living with dementia, cancer and other health issues and, in 2019, the team set up the only UK comedy festival entirely dedicated to children and young people. This not for profit festival will take place again in 2020 and features shows and performances across Leicester & Leicestershire.

Tracey’s 24 Hour Party People event raised over £6000 profit and £3000 went directly to Big Difference Company to help continue their invaluable work. This August Bank Holiday event, the brainchild of DJ Fitz who spent a marathon 24 Hours on the decks, has been announced as a Finalist for the East Midlands Charity Awards.
